Description:TEKsystems is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mechanical Technician to join their team in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will have 6 months to 2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance and repair, with a strong focus on HVAC systems. Willing to take on a technician with less experience and train them up, but would need to have some previous experience based on the listed skills.Skills:

Must have experience operating a multimeter and HVAC equipment

Must have experience changing belts, filters, and grease bearings

Must be mechanically inclined

Must have good communication and people skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC units, including changing belts, filters, and greasing bearings.

Utilize multimeters to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues within HVAC systems.

Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of mechanical equipment.

Assist in the installation and commissioning of new HVAC units and related equipment.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues to the supervisor.

Follow safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
