This position will report directly to the EHS manager at our New Johnsonville, TN location.The Administrative Services Assistant supports general business operations by providing general administrative or secretarial activities to a department and/or Manager. Responsibilities may be unique to a specific function or department such as Procurement, Engineering, EHS, Maintenance, or Operations; but are mainly administrative in nature.Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

Using specialist computer software

Serve as liaison or subject matter expert for administrative software/database(s)

Updating computer records using a database

Understanding the requirements of the business you are working in

Create and issue metric reports from systems

Preparing, organizing, and storing information in paper and digital form

Improving/developing administrative processes

Assist with system configuration and upgrades

Design efficient administrative systems for business needs

Scheduling meetings and booking rooms

Dealing with queries on the phone and by email

Greeting visitors at reception

Arranging travel and accommodation

Arranging deliveries

Taking minutes at meetings

Typing up letters and reports

Printing and photocopying

Ordering office supplies

Maintaining office systems

Liaising with suppliers and contractors

Liaising with staff in other departments

Working in an office and occasionally field

The following is required for this role:

High school diploma/GED equivalent

Proficient computer skills (knowledgeable in Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office Products, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)

Willingness and Capability to learn new systems

Able to work in a team environment

Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

Self-management skills with strong initiative

Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and job assignments

The following is preferred for this role:

Associates/Bachelor’s degree (business related)

SAP experience

Previous administrative, industrial/manufacturing, or safety related experience
