Roles & ResponsibilitiesOversee the operation and maintenance of critical electrical systems—including HVAC, WFI, PW, and steam utilities—ensuring continuous availability and minimal downtime.Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and local safety regulations by conducting internal audits, enforcing work permit protocols, and implementing corrective and preventive actions like Kaizens, Poka-yoke, and OPLs.Lead engineering projects from initiation to completion, including resource planning, budget estimation, documentation, and coordination with finance and SCM for timely execution.Manage preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance strategies to reduce breakdowns, improve equipment health, and optimize utility generation costs.Train and guide the engineering team on maintenance procedures, hazard identification, and safety practices, while fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous learning.Coordinate with cross-functional departments such as SHE, QA, QC, Production, IT, and Finance to ensure seamless maintenance of plant equipment and resolution of CRNs/incidents.Implement energy conservation techniques, monitor energy consumption, and drive cost reduction initiatives for spares and machinery through new technologies and systems.Prepare and execute equipment qualification and validation schedules—including URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ protocols and ensure documentation compliance through cross-functional coordination."
