Territory Manager

Roles & ResponsibilitiesLead the cluster's financial closing process by reviewing transactions, provisions, GL accounts, and non-routine events to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting standards.Oversee product costing, inventory valuation, and overhead tracking across plants, while driving initiatives to minimize variances between standard and actual costs and mitigate inventory-related risks.Partner with plant and cluster leadership to prepare operating budgets and long-range plans, embedding efficiency opportunities and aligning budget goals with profitability objectives.Deliver plant-level financial insights through timely MIS and P&L reporting, conduct variance analyses, and work with stakeholders to align OPEX with budgeted expectations.Coordinate internal, statutory, and cost audits across plants, ensure timely completion, SOX compliance, and resolution of control gaps while minimizing audit observations.Support manufacturing heads by providing cost transparency, long-term profitability trends, and strategic recommendations aligned with organizational priorities.Identify and track savings initiatives—including throughput gains, cost leadership, lean practices, and finance-led projects—to boost operational profitability and support decision-making.Develop finance team capabilities by mentoring team members, identifying upskilling needs, fostering cross-functional knowledge sharing, and supporting career development planning."
