Get ready to work in paradise. We are opening a fine dining restaurant on the island of St.John in US Virgin Islands. We are looking for Line Cooks who possess a strong attention to detail, organization and cleanliness. In addition to technical skills of a minimum of 2 years of experience, the individuals must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to be a team collaborator. We are seeking energetic, enthusiastic line cooks with a passion for food, strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment.

Applicants will have great attention to detail and high standards of excellence. We are looking for people who are eager to learn and build their skills in the kitchen. Requirements:

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in Cruz Bay, St. John, United States Virgin Islands as a Line Cook at Hinds Hospitality Group. The Line Cook will be responsible for prepping ingredients, assembling dishes, and cooking meals to order. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen, be able to work efficiently under pressure, and have a passion for creating high-quality cuisine.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Prior experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen

Understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
