Essential Functions
Source sales leads
Establish rapport with customers
Engage with customers to determine needs and solve problems by matching with appropriate products and
services
Use the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) to track and manage sales leads
Answer inbound sales calls, makes outbound and follow up sales calls
Creates quotes for customers
Negotiate to meet customer needs while maintaining sales profit margins
Prepare sales paperwork and invoices
Present finance opportunities to customers and assists the customer with the finance process.
Process sales through the cash register and Store Order Entry (SOE) system
With the support and direction of the Store Manager, plans and executes outside sales calls to develop wholesale
business
Attend off-site sales events (Trade shows, sale barns, co-ops, farm expos, tractor pulls, etc.) to market the company
and develop sales leads.
Work with management to coordinate inventory needs and special orders
Support opening and closing of the facility as directed
Coordinate, organize and maintain the display and merchandising of the sales yard and showroom
Assist in maintaining the general appearance and organization of the offices and facility
Keep current with industry trends and updates.
