Job DescriptionManages activities of quoting team to ensure that quotes are prepared, negotiated and accepted in accordance with Corporate policies. Monitors quote issues to mitigate Oracle's risk. Manages a professional staff.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:

Lead a team of Quote Specialists and Senior Quote Specialists

Manage their day-to-day activities and drive training to meet department goals

Thoroughly understand the sales process and partner with our sales team members to support deal progression

Assure deal compliance with legal guidelines

Inspire team excellence through a deep understanding of an individual’s personal development and career goals

Provide constructive event-based feedback and deploy effective performance management

Define business metrics, track progress and drive accountability, including but not limited to turnaround times and quality

Advocate for the quoting team and help build and improve the brand of the team

Prepare effective training and coaching to increase team efficiency, productivity, and stakeholder satisfaction

Participate in department wide improvement initiatives to improve business processes and operational excellence

Drive continuous process improvement to support ROI on human capital, systems use and execution of daily workflow

Develop collaborative relationships with necessary partner teams to deliver a smooth stakeholder experience

Manage and balance Q requests partnering with partner managers on quote teams.

Handle escalated concerns and follow up to ensure a positive resolution

Develop team members for increased skillset for broader responsibilities and future growth

Drive performance targets and communicate team performance to stakeholders

Identify and drive improvements in how we support the sales teams

Promote a growth mindset

Basic Qualifications:

3-5+ years of experience in customer experience, account management or professional services

2+ years of people management experience

1+ years of experience working with Sales and other cross-functional teams on complex programs

Microsoft suite of applications

Preferred Qualifications:

BA/BS degree in Management/Business or similar

Experience working in a client-facing role, including the ability to build deep stakeholder relationships

Familiarity with Oracle quoting tools and process

Strong business acumen and ability to translate day to day work with company business performance

Analytical problem-solving mindset with experience in process improvement activities

Comfortable translating visionary leadership guidance into team actions

Results driven and action oriented

Independent seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources and delivering results in challenging situations to satisfy our customers

Building and driving results across a cross-functional team

Leadership: strong team leadership and project management skills and ability to mobilize teams towards a common goal

Initiative and ownership: the ability to act with limited oversight on a day-to-day basis, balancing multiple priorities

High-energy, team-first attitude: motivated to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Effective communications: excellent communication skills with the ability to distil complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations

Executive presence: experience working closely with senior executives to solve challenging business problems; Ability to credibly and compellingly present and debate recommendations with senior leadership

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
