Our mid-sized, global data-centric tech client is looking to add a Director of Engineering - North America, to their Digital and Product Engineering division. This Director of Engineering will oversee 5-6 managers ( with squads of 8-12 each ). This NA Director will have global counterparts and report to the local Austin, TX VP of Engineering. This organization is HQ in Minnesota with geographically dispersed teams. This organization core products / services revolves around providing data to various industries - energy, emergency response, fuel, agriculture, etc. This N.A. Director of Engineering will oversee squads that have FE Engineers ( React ), Backend Engineers ( NodeJS), DevOps, UX, QA type engineers.- Looking for a technically savvy Director of Engineering. Must have software development, DevOps, UI, UX upbringing.
- Having a proven track record of contributing and leading growth, retainment and advancement of employees, products and customers is required!
- Must understand squads and guilds
- Must be a forward thinker - we are looking for this Director to add technical, architectural, and cultural value to this organization!
