AECOM Technical Services, Inc., is seeking a GIS Specialist II in Austin, TX.Job Responsibilities:Perform analytics, leveraging interdisciplinary techniques to extract knowledge or insights from data in various forms, (either structured or unstructured) which is a continuation of data analysis fields such as statistics, data mining, and predictive analytics.Create digital assets to support the planning, design, build, operation, and maintenance of transportation infrastructure.Design, develop, and support digital solutions for internal and external clients.Leverage various products and provide configuration, integration, scripting, and custom development to provide digital solutions including data collection, data storage, automation, analytics, simulation, and optimization. Incorporate spatial and tabular data to map, analysis, and assess real-world problems.Provide geospatial and data analysis solution to internal and external clients.Perform the realization of design in a variety of formats by translating designs, CAD, GIS, surveys, drone, video, field, and other data sources to create complex visualizations through the use of GIS, business intelligence, 3D, and other software.Design, build, test, and roll out custom GIS web applications, field survey tools and data collection forms.Provide technical support for web application and field survey end-users.Develop, test, and executive custom Python and SQL scripts for data processing and analysis.May telecommute.
