Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Operations Specialist in the manufacturing industry. The role will lead the operational aspects of indirect procurement, ensuring timely, cost-effective acquisition of goods and services to support the organization’s needs. This role emphasizes operational excellence, including process management, supplier performance monitoring, and problem resolution, while maintaining compliance with company policies. The successful candidate will drive efficiency, collaboration, and innovation in indirect procurement processes.Responsibilities:
Procurement Support: Create and monitor purchase orders in Oracle ERP, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Supplier Coordination: Maintain supplier relationships, resolve issues, and monitor performance.
Operational Efficiency: Identify process improvements, track order fulfillment, and optimize workflows.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to align procurement efforts and address sourcing needs.
Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve issues with orders, invoices, or supplier performance.
Data Reporting: Maintain accurate records and provide insights through procurement reports.
