Growing together.As a Senior Client Service Manager, you will manage matrix-heavy processes as you partner with the assigned Strategic Account Executive to bring the benefits of UnitedHealthcare Group Retiree Solutions to our Public Sector, Private Sector and Labor customers.If you are located in Texas, you will have the flexibility to work remotely as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary day to day service contact for our customers.Must understand and manage customer expectations and service needs by building and maintaining positive relationships (both internal and external) and by delivering quality service; thereby enhancing UnitedHealthcare’s reputation in the industry
Public speaking and event management. Deliver Presentations at Open Enrollment Meetings for crowds of varying size, set up tables or event booths, order materials, ship materials, while coordinating with local event planner and training assistance if needed. Ensure seamless, complete, and accurate Health Fair and Open Enrollment activity for customers by coordinating enrollment meetings and the ordering of enrollment materials. Create customer specific presentations and train vendors for OE meetings
Build a solid working partnership with the Strategic Account Executive (SAE) to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Align on internal and external customer and URS goals
Provide consultative services to clients to address service delivery needs by listening for the need behind the need and solving for that real need
Manage all service-related issues on assigned book of business. Investigate, research, and resolve concerns presented by the customer and Account Management Team (AMT) members
Identify trends and develop customer specific solutions in collaboration with cross-functional team’s expertise
Ensures the timely and accurate delivery of client communications (correspondence, network and product updates, fulfillment materials, ID cards, etc.)
Partner with the sales and other internal partners to ensure smooth and effective implementations
Attend and participate in customer meetings and open enrollment events
Lead effective meetings with customers, vendors, and matrix partners as necessary
Large or multiple large, complex, high revenue generating State based caseloads often managing 100,000+ retirees and $100,000,000+ in revenue which needs to be managed closely and with a high degree of detail and management because the risk of the account termination or the need for contract renewal and/or RFP win is greater
Act as the back-up or supplemental sales lead in person at board meetings, trade shows, client meetings, financial reviews, clinical reviews, or client events
Participate and present at finalist meetings and new business RFP’s
Facilitate peer to peer training either formally or informally through new hire onboarding or ongoing monthly CSM training
Project manage an Account Management project or projects over the course of the year which streamlines processes for the Account Team and/or reduces issues between

Bachelor’s degree or a high school diploma/GED with significant relevant work experience
Active Health Insurance License
3+ years of account management experience in the employee benefits space
2+ years of experience with Medicare
Public speaking experience in front of large groups
Knowledge of health insurance industry, products and services and the managed care environment
Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proven ability to interface with and influence internal business partners through the use of interpersonal skills.
Proven willingness and ability to travel (25%-50%)
Proven project Management-oriented organizational skills
Proven creative analytical and problem-solving skills
Reside in Texas
Preferred Qualifications:
Public Sector and/or Labor experience
Technical knowledge (claims, eligibility, and contracts)
Intermediate level of proficiency with Visio and SharePoint
