Driver Manager/Dispatcher
Position: Driver Manager & Dispatcher
Location: Warehouse in Austin
Hours: 7 Days a Week, Estimated 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Compensation:
Base Pay: $500 per week
Additional Pay for Deliveries: $2.00 per stop
Weekly Earnings Potential: $750 - $1,350 (with driving)
Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, organized Driver Manager/Dispatcher to oversee and support our team of drivers, ensure efficient deliveries, and communicate seamlessly with both drivers and warehouse staff. This role is ideal for someone who can manage daily operations, provide essential training, and fill in on deliveries as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Driver Recruitment & Training:
Conduct interviews to recruit drivers aligned with our standards.
Train new drivers on app usage, route optimization, and delivery protocols.
Daily Support & Communication:
Maintain clear communication with drivers throughout the day to address questions or issues.
Coordinate daily work schedules and ensure adequate driver coverage.
Performance & Compliance Monitoring:
Monitor driver photos to ensure Proof of Delivery (POD) standards are followed.
Track driver efficiency, targeting at least a 95% completion rate for all routes.
Warehouse Collaboration:
Coordinate with warehouse staff to solve issues quickly and maintain smooth operations.
Additional Responsibilities:
Step in as a driver to deliver packages as needed to support the team.
Requirements:
Must be available 7 days a week, estimated 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to stay calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in dispatching or driver management is preferred.
