Job DescriptionGreat opportunity for Quality Control Technician in Baytown - pay is $16 per hour plus overtime! The position may require rotating shifts.The ideal candidate for the Quality Control Technician position will be able to work rotating shifts.Position requires you to have a Valid Texas Driver's License.Are you looking to join a team at a brand new chemical plant / packaging facility in Baytown?The primary responsibility of your role as a QC Tech is to inspect palletized product in an outdoor storage yard and remove outer hoods (covering) from the pallets before they are loaded into shipping containers.Job Duties & Responsibilities:Responsible for handling finished productRemoves out hood of stacks just before loading from storage locations to loading islandsVerifies lot numbers and pallet counts before loads or stacks go into containers and trailersPerforms quality control activitiesPerforms scrap and exception handlingPerforms repair of broken stacksBin verification / bin auditsEnsures clean work space and performs housekeeping activitiesResponsible for identifying and eliminating potential slip hazards within the facility by sweeping plastic pellets.Collects empty liners recycling.Prepares containers with inner liners.Supports pallet recovery and repair.Supports maintenance work.Any other duties that may be assigned to complete the task.RequirementsQualifications:Position requires you to work outside in environmental condition which at times include extreme heat or extreme coldPosition requires you to wear all required PPE without restrictionPosition requires you to lift 50 pounds floor to waistPosition requires you to push and pull 30 pounds horizontallyHighlightsAS A KELLY EMPLOYEE, YOU-LL HAVE ACCESS TO WORLD-CLASS PERKS, INCLUDING:Kelly-sponsored Affordable Care Act health care coverage available to eligible employeesGroup insurance optionsService bonus planHoliday pay planWeekly electronic pay optionsOnline training campus that provides more than 3,000 free courses to help improve and develop skillsExclusive online employee communityEmployee assistance program available at no costCorporate discountsTransportation Spending AccountsOffered and administered by Leslie & Associates.
