Description We are offering an opportunity to join our team in Carrollton, Texas, as a Collections Specialist. This role involves working in commercial collections and interacting frequently with insurance companies. You will be tasked with the responsibility of collecting on invoices from insurance carriers for reconstruction work. Responsibilities: Engage in regular communication with insurance companies and other stakeholders. Handle collections for invoices from insurance carriers related to reconstruction work. Collaborate with operations teams to understand and streamline processes. Utilize skills in Accounts Receivable, Answering Inbound Calls, Collection Processes, and Microsoft Excel. Work with the NetSuite platform to manage and track collections. Collect on supplemental invoices as well as Collections Mitigation invoices from the insurance carrier. Periodically invoice throughout the project to ensure steady cash flow. Handle collections from homeowners or business owners when necessary. Utilize commercial collections skills to ensure timely payment of invoices. Maintain accurate records of all collections activities. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Collections Specialist or a similar role. Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) management. Ability to handle and resolve inbound calls effectively. Familiarity with Collection Processes and procedures. Knowledge and experience in using NetSuite software. Experience in Commercial Collections is desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
