Description A client of ours in the home technology industry is looking to hire a Financial Analyst to join their growing team! Responsibilities:
Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
Analyze current and past financial data and performance, identifying trends.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to revenue forecasts, budget analysis, and results.
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
Propose action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attained.
Support management team with in-depth analysis and advice.
Provide insights to management for decision-making and strategic planning.
Requirements
Required Skills:
Strong proficiency in financial analysis software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
In-depth knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot data anomalies, trends, or deviations.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and adhere to deadlines.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
2-5 years of relevant experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling.
Any financial certifications (CFA, CPA, etc.) would be an added advantage.
