Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist

Description Our client located in Conroe Texas is actively looking to hire an Accounts Receivable Specialist with over 3 years experience in AR/Collections. The ideal candidate will have experience working with liens, sending over 350 letters a month and handling lien releases.Responsibilities also include experience with PDF's, cash applications (ACH and Credit Cards), high volume posting transactions amounting to over 100 million quarterly. The individual will also manage aged account balances and must be a self-starter, as the manager leans towards leadership style that empowers autonomy.We have a collaborative work environment; hence they are insistent on candidates who can quickly adapt and do not have the mentality of 'this isn't my job' in the face of evolving responsibilities. High volume experience is required and proficiency in Excel, specifically with VLOOKUP’s and Pivot tables is a major plus.This role requires experience with larger ERP Systems, hence candidates with only QuickBooks experience are less likely to be considered.This is a direct hire opportunity paying up to 65K plus benefits working 100% in office.Requirements Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role. Proficient in Account Reconciliation. Extensive knowledge and experience in Accounts Receivable (AR). Demonstrated skill in Cash Applications. Experience in Cash Collections is required. Familiarity with Commercial Collections. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Liens is necessary. Certification as a Notary Public is a plus.
