Job Title: Accountant with QuickBooks Knowledge

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong proficiency in QuickBooks to assist with small projects and accounting tasks. If you are currently working in an accounting role and have the ability to assist with QuickBooks clean-up, chart of accounts adjustments, and generating reports, this could be a great opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
QuickBooks Clean-up: Assist in reviewing and cleaning up QuickBooks chart of accounts for accuracy and consistency.
Report Generation: Run and analyze various financial reports from QuickBooks as needed, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other financial statements.
Transaction Review: Ensure proper categorization and reconciliation of transactions.
Process Improvement: Provide recommendations for improving QuickBooks processes and enhancing financial reporting.
Ad-Hoc Projects: Support the team with various accounting tasks and projects on a temporary basis.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in accounting and proficiency with QuickBooks (both desktop and online versions).
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and suggest improvements.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication skills, especially for remote collaboration.
Flexible availability to assist on short-term projects.
Preferred:
Currently employed in an accounting role and looking for extra hours on a part-time/freelance basis.
Experience with QuickBooks chart of accounts structure and financial reporting.
