Job Description Our client, located in north Dallas, is looking for a Java Engineer. This is a software company the builds out real estate management application. They are going through a re-write, taking a current monolithic application from .NET and moving it over to a Microservice Java architecture. They are looking for someone who is skilled with Java, Spring Boot, REST, some Angular, and either Azure or AWS. Any experience with architecting a microservice application would be a plus. This is a 6 month contract-to-hire position. It will be remote during for the rest of 2021, and then onsite 1-2 days in 2022. Required Skills & Experience
- Looking for at least 2+ years of Java experience.
- Development experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST, and either Azure or AWS.
- This will be a completely green field development, you will need to architect and code.
- Any background in tech such as Kafka, Docker, Elastic will be a plus.
- Understanding of Agile Development Methodologies.
- Works well on a small team - they currently have 2 members and this will make it to 3.

- Will help with architecture and design

- Competitive Pay: Up to $60/hour, DOE
- Contract Duration: 6 Months, conversion will be around $120K
