The .NET Software Development manager will be doing some hands on coding the first year and will be helping our client transition to agile methodologies, and modern code management and release practices. The teams have begun the transition to daily standups and Azure DevOps boards; however, they need more coaching in the full development cycle.ResponsibilitiesLead teams of developers Help define, document, evolve, and evangelize high engineering standards and best practicesSet and drive continuous improvement goals for the teamsEvaluate existing systems for upgrade, maintenance, removal, or replacementWork with architects, developers, Dev Ops, and QA to design new systems and solutionsWork with developers to document our systems, environments, and code basesStrengthen our application and environment securityIncrease the sophistication of our logging, alerting and escalation mechanismsCreate automation systems to facilitate multiple types of automated testing including unit, regression, feature, load, and smoke testingCollaborate with developers and QA to integrate all work into our test automation Experience5+ years of development with some engineer management in an agile environmentWeb technologies, systems, and interfaces: .Net, WebForm, Classic ASP, etc.Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, ORM and SQL QueriesExpert with .NET, C#Development and source code management tools Azure DevOps, Git, TFS, etc.Modernizing legacy codebasesHighly secure network environments and cloud infrastructuresYoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
