Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our healthcare team in Dallas, Texas. This role involves handling a wide range of bookkeeping and accounting tasks, including processing accounts payable and receivable, managing journal entries, and maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities: Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently Perform invoicing tasks and ensure timely collections Maintain accurate financial records and perform journal entries Review and validate financial statements before distribution Ensure timely payments for contracts with third-party entities Prepare and present annual financial reports Monitor customer credit applications and accounts, taking necessary action when required Maintain a comprehensive and accurate record of all customer credit applications and transactions Utilize QuickBooks Enterprise for various accounting and bookkeeping tasks Handle financial projections on accounts receivable. Requirements Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a bookkeeping role within the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industry. Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management. Demonstrated experience with Bank Reconciliations. Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with bookkeeping practices. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Experience with month-end close procedures and reporting. Proficiency in using QuickBooks for financial management and reporting. Experience in preparing and posting Journal Entries. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
