Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Collections Specialist with SAP experience to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing and collecting on overdue accounts for our business clientele. You will use your expertise in SAP to help streamline our collections processes and ensure efficient record keeping.Responsibilities:
Track and monitor accounts receivable through SAP system.
Initiate contact with customers to collect payment on past due accounts.
Negotiate payment plans with customers and set up loan terms and conditions.
Maintain accurate records of all collection and recovery activities.
Utilize SAP software for accurate data tracking and report generation.
Escalate unresolved issues to management promptly.
Assist with month-end closing processes.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards.
Educate customers on payment terms and polish financial literacy.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
Proven experience in debt collection, preferably in a business-to-business environment.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP software.
Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS office applications viz. Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Strong understanding of financial laws and regulations.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Proactive and able to work independently.
Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
