Holiday and call rotation requiredDEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS :· Level I Trauma Center· Comprehensive Heart Attack and Stroke Center· 8 years in a row, Texas Health Resources has Placed #1 on Fortune’s list of Best Workplaces in Healthcare· Cover ED, Inpatient, and Outpatient, and Surgery· Siemens CT Scanners· Holiday and call rotation requiredHERE’S WHAT YOU WILL NEED:Education :· Other – Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology required or· Associate degree preferred.· Other – CLIAFE; Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required.Experience :· 1-year radiologic technician experience w/out ARRT – CT required or· No experience w/ ARRT - CTLicenses and Certifications :· ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, R, upon hire required and· ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic, CT, w/no radiology technician experience upon hire or· ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, CT, w/1 year radiology technician experience within 12 months of hire and· CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist, either by TDH or TMB, upon hire and· BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.SKILLS:· Imaging Quality and Processing:· Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to exam.· Performs complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations.· Assists radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique.· Correctly sends and transfers images to PACS.Entity HighlightsFor more than a half-century, Texas Health Dallas has been at the forefront of health care in North Texas.
