Permanent Substitute (26-27)

The Permanent Substitute Teacher provides consistent instructional and classroom support across assigned campuses. This role ensures continuity of learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher by delivering lesson plans, maintaining classroom structure, and supporting student achievement. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver instruction using provided lesson plans across subjects and grade levelsMaintain a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environmentImplement school-wide behavior systems and uphold campus expectationsSupport student learning and monitor academic progressAccurately take and submit daily attendance in a timely mannerCollaborate with school site leadership to grade student assignments and provide timely, meaningful feedbackCommunicate regularly and professionally with families regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom updatesCollaborate with teachers and staff to ensure continuity of instructionPerform campus supervision duties (arrival, lunch, dismissal, etc.)Attend required meetings, trainings, and professional developmentSupport testing, school events, and daily campus operations
