Job DescriptionThe Manufacturing client is looking for a strong Project Manager to help them drive multiple projects forward. This PM will report to a Director of Special projects and collaborate with multiple Lines of Business and IT teams. They need a strong Project Manager to help them drive projects forward and bridge the gap of communication between IT and the Business. The PM will be working on multiple workstreams and projects, not just one specific initiative. Projects:First project this PM will tackle will be OS upgrade, they have about 90 servers that are coming to end of life cycle. This PM will need to drive budget, deadline conversations with the business and leverage the engineering teams to execute the project. JDE upgrade: this PM will work with the 3rd party to upgrade ERP system. They do not need to have ERP in their experience (nice to have) but they need to understand how to leverage 3rd party SMEs to drive this project forward. What would be useful for this project is prior experience where they had to quickly learn inter-dependencies of systems and how a product/software integrates within a new environment. Printing label system upgrade: they are going to change the process of how printing labels are being configured. The main heavy lifting this PM will need to do is working with the business and drive internal collaboration. They will need to understand what the business wants, drive UAT testing and project springs.
