- drive productivity with the engineering team; being a task master in the DSM ensuring each engineer is on track, on time, etc
- drive the team to deliver on features prioritized by the product owner
- conduct all agile ceremonies to facilitate productive output (sprint planning, retrospective, DSM, etc)
- ensure sprints are properly scoped and estimated; be responsible for making sure team delivers what its committed to in each sprint; accountability
- be responsible for individual and team performance measurement; measuring productivity and utilization over time including velocity, burndown, etc; use Jira to its fullest to provide dashboarding, statusing, and reporting around these critical KPIs
