Job Title: Live-In Caregiver

### Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide personalized care and support for an elderly individual or a person with disabilities in their home. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, a nurturing personality, and the ability to live with the care recipient to provide round-the-clock assistance.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily activities such as help bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. They may need a little help but not much.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Manage medication schedules and ensure proper administration.
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities to enhance the quality of life.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in health or behavior to family members or healthcare professionals. Each resident has a binder
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort.( no lifting)
- Accompany the care recipient to appointments and social outings as needed. (If I can’t go)
### Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role.
- Ability to live on-site with the care recipient.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a compassionate nature.
- Basic knowledge of healthcare practices and first aid.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required for the job).
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving or related field is a plus.
