We have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Router Operator in the Plastics Manufacturing industry on a temporary to permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC router equipment
- Reading and interpreting project blueprints and plans
- Ensuring the manufactured parts meet the specified dimensions
- Conducting quality control checks and adjusting machine settings as needed
- Regularly cleaning and maintaining equipment to ensure its longevity
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC router operator, specifically in plastics manufacturing
- Strong understanding of blueprints and mechanical drawings
- High-level of attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Certificates/License Requirements:
- Vocational school or apprenticeship preferred
- CNC certification is a plus
Tools, Equipment, and PPE:
- You will be working with CNC router machines, so familiarity with such equipment is required
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and ear protection will be needed
