JOB DETAILS

The ideal candidate for this position will operate in a wide variety of environments, troubleshooting, making repairs, and performing both small and large electrical installations. Our primary customer base consists of Manufacturing and Light Industrial clients. You will be expected to be highly knowledgeable in your trade, provide excellent customer service, be self-motivated, quality-focused, and operate safely and efficiently in the field with minimal immediate supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure safety at all times

- Adhere to NEC requirements

- Provide excellent customer service in client-facing situations

- Troubleshoot a wide variety of industrial and manufacturing systems

- Troubleshoot and install motor control systems

- Perform Manufacturing / Light Industrial installations, including UPS

- Install generators

- Handle Medium Voltage (5KV to 25KV) installations, terminations, and testing (HiPot)

- Manage small crews

- Troubleshoot and program PLCs

REQUIREMENTS

- State of Texas Master or Journeyman Electrician license

- Texas Driver's license and a clean driving record (Texas CDL not required but considered a plus)

- Ability to pass drug testing and a national minimum 10-year background check

- Professional appearance and demeanor

- Certified thermographer certification is a plus

- Experience with MM Fiber and/or Cat 5 - Cat 6 cabling troubleshooting, installation, and testing is a plus

JOB CONDITIONS

This job requires working in various weather conditions, depending on job location and time of year. You must wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, vest, and gloves) at all times, and a respirator when required. The position involves working 8-10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, with overtime and night shifts as needed. Physical demands include crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, and reaching. You must be able to routinely lift heavy objects weighing more than 50 pounds and perform pushing and pulling tasks. The job requires repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers, with physical work comprising more than 70% of the role.
