ARECO North America is hiring a part-time Field Technician based near Dallas, TX to service and maintain our ultrasonic humidification systems installed in grocery stores across Texas and western Louisiana.
This is a hands-on role for a reliable, mechanically inclined person who enjoys working independently and traveling between locations.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance 3 times per year at each store (cleaning, filter replacement, inspection)
Handle service calls and light repairs as needed
Drive to assigned store locations (approx. 13,600 miles per year) – sedan or larger vehicle required
Communicate clearly with our NJ headquarters and submit digital maintenance reports
Represent ARECO professionally at client sites
WHAT WE PROVIDE
Paid training (1–2 weeks with a certified technician)
All tools, laptop, cellphone, uniforms (shirt/hat), and consumables
Mileage reimbursement for all work travel
Hotels fully covered when overnight stays are required
$50/day meal per diem for each overnight stay
Ongoing support from our North American operations team
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Based within 45 miles of Dallas, TX
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (sedan or larger)
Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude – HVAC, plumbing, or maintenance background a plus
Excellent communication and time-management skills
Tech-savvy and comfortable with digital forms/reports
Dependable, organized, and professional with a clean driving record
Able to travel throughout Texas and occasionally into Louisiana (some overnights)
PAY & SCHEDULE
$25–$40 per hour (based on experience)
Approximately 450 hours per year (3 maintenance cycles annually)
Some overnight travel required (company-paid)
