Solo position for a driver that has:
> a minimum Class B CDL with Hazmat Endorsement
> a clean DAC, MVR and can pass a drug test; NO preventable accidents
> a place to park the truck while off duty during the weekends
> good communication skills; is detail oriented
> safe driving practices
Healthcare Shared Network (HSN), a division of FedEX Custom Critical, affords opportunities for temperature-controlled straight trucks running regionally, mainly servicing Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma most of Kansas, New Mexico and Colorado. You can expect multiple shippers and deliveries on each load, likely 10 to 15 drops per week. Delivery locations are typically made to wholesalers, hospitals and retail chains. Pick up location at cross dock with some sorting; load your own freight. Typical cargo weight ranges from 5,000 lbs or less.
Independent Contractor affiliation; 1099-Misc at year end

50/50 percentage-based linehaul pay (owner/driver)
Owner pays fuel, tolls, weekly equipment fees, fuel/mileage taxes, truck insurance, truck maintenance, truck repair
and truck washes. Owner retains fuel and toll surcharges.
Driver pays their own Work Accident Insurance which is $150/month
