Manager II TechnologyLocations: Preferred location – IN-Indianapolis . The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations. Additional locations near an NGS office will be considered; MD-Baltimore, NY-East Syracuse, PA-Harrisburg, ME-South Portland, TX-Denison, MA-Hingham, NC – North Carolina . This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Depending on location and proximity to an NGS location, will determine hybrid schedule with the highest in-office commitment being 1-2 days in an office per week.National Government Services is a proud member of Elevance Health’s family of brands. We administer government contracts for Medicare and partner with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to transform federal health programs.The Manager II Technology is responsible for leading emerging Information Technology (IT) strategies by researching and implementing technological strategic proof of concepts, prototypes, and pilots to support innovation, process improvement, and demonstrate technical leadership to National Government Services customers and stakeholders.How you will make an impact:

Oversees strategic information systems exploratory development and specialty initiatives.

Oversees the Program Quality Control Team and implements and strengthens procedures, process improvements, and organizational techniques; manages implementation projects to ensure deliverables. Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with key business partners.

Manages multiple cost centers and/or plan of record projects; delivers and supports software system solutions that support the operations of their functional areas.

Manages at least a single application (or the equivalent capital and/or level of responsibility and complexity).

Partners closely with Information Technology Leadership, NGS Enterprise Security, Growth Partners, and Business Operations to deliver prototypes and pilots to meet business needs.

Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates the performance of direct reports.

Minimum Requirements

Requires a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field of study and a minimum of 5 years of experience leading project teams, application software development, maintenance or implementation, and support, including 3 years of management or leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

This position is part of our NGS (National Government Services) division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years.Preferred Experience, Skills, and Capabilities

Working knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence best practices with the ability to translate those terms to business partners preferred.

Knowledge of SDLC preferred.

Process Improvement credentials and knowledge of Data Science and Advanced Analytics are preferred.

Advanced degree preferred.
