Job Summary
The Administrative Affairs Director is responsible for leading and managing the school's operational functions, including Financial Aid, Admissions, Collections, and overall administrative processes. This role focuses on ensuring efficiency, regulatory compliance, and effective interdepartmental coordination to support the institution's overall success and student experience.
Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership & Oversight
Oversee the daily operations of Financial Aid, Admissions, and Collections, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and compliance with regulatory standards.
Develop, implement, and improve policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure smooth coordination between departments to optimize student experience and operational success.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess departmental effectiveness and make data-driven improvements. Admissions & Enrollment Management
Supervise the Admissions team to ensure efficient student recruitment, enrollment, and onboarding processes.
Develop strategies to improve enrollment conversion rates while maintaining compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with marketing to align recruitment e/orts with institutional goals. Financial Aid & Compliance.
Oversee the Financial Aid department to ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies.
Monitor financial aid processing, reporting, and student eligibility verification.
Ensure timely completion of audits and adherence to regulations such as Title IV, TWC, and accreditation requirements.
Collections & Student Accounts
Supervise the Collections team to ensure timely and efficient tuition payment processing.
Develop and implement strategies to minimize outstanding balances while maintaining positive student relations.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and institutional policies regarding tuition and payment plans.
Strategic Planning & Policy Development
Collaborate with executive leadership to develop long-term strategies for operational improvement.
Identify inefficiencies and implement process enhancements to optimize student services and financial performance.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices.
Team Leadership & Staff Development
Manage, mentor, and evaluate administrative staff across departments.
Provide professional development opportunities to enhance team performance.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Organizational and Corporate Communication .
Minimum of 3 years of academic administration required
