Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist at our Fort Worth, Texas location. This role is within the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry, where you will be responsible for supporting the company's accounts payable process, maintaining effective vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices.Responsibilities Manage the entire process of accounts payable within the company. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner. Review and approve vendor invoices before payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Accurately input invoices into the accounting system, ensuring they are correctly coded and categorized. Prepare and process various forms of payments, such as checks and automated clearing house transfers, in accordance with company policies. Regularly reconcile accounts payable to ensure the accuracy and completeness of records. Collaborate with the procurement and finance teams to improve processes and resolve issues. Generate accounts payable reports for management review, identifying trends and anomalies. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, maintaining proper documentation for audit purposes. Use various accounting software systems and tools, such as ADP - Financial Services and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, to efficiently manage accounting functions.Requirements Proficiency in accounting software systems is crucial to this role Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required Familiarity with Netsuite ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a must Solid understanding of general accounting functions is important Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is key Knowledge of Account Coding is essential Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is necessaryRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
