Certified Sterile Processing TechnicianWork location: Texas Health Alliance: 10864 Texas Health Trail Fort Worth, Texas 76244Work hours: Full Time (40 Hour) Mid Shift 10:30am – 7:00pm, with callDepartment highlights:· Team based environment· Workplace culture 2 nd to none· Great benefits/ 401k / PTOHere’s What You NeedQualificationsEducation· High School Diploma or equivalent requiredExperience· 1 year sterile processing experience preferredLicenses and Certifications· CSPDT – Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technici9an upon hire required OR· CBSPD – Certification Board for Sterile Processing & Distribution upon hire required OR· CRCST – Certified Registered Central Service Technician upon hire requiredWhat You Will Do· Performs scanning of instrument trays for location and creation of count sheet/label.· Demonstrates proper assembly technique for instrument trays.· Demonstrates wrapping/containing of instruments/trays.· Performs scanning of instrument trays to track location using the SPM system.· Demonstrates decontamination process according to policy and procedure.· Performs tests and documents as directed to ensure proper operation of washers and Emergency Eyewash and Shower.· Demonstrates the proper loading technique for sterilization method· Scans prepared items into correct sterilizer load.Additional perks of being a Texas Health Employee:· Benefits include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, Student Loan Repayment Program as well as several other benefits.· At Texas Health, our people make this a great place to work every day.
