DescriptionManaging multiple customers with the aim of selling distribution material, performing the RFQ follow up through the consultation of KPI’s, in line with the objectives assigned by the Vice President of Sales. Delivering the best service possible to the assigned customer portfolio at every stage of the order.Main tasks and responsibilitiesManage requests for quotations (RFQ) by analyzing requirements and verifying the availability of stock, the existence of potential purchasing contracts and previous requests sent to suppliers for the purchase of a specific item.
Prepare the offer to the customer based upon the best supply source, which is determined by the Procurement department on the basis of certifications, price per unit and lead time.
Perform RFQ’s follow up activities that are necessary to ensure and maintain relations with customers, such as dealing with emails, making calls, videoconferences, and visits.
Build a sustainable relationship with the customer, providing all the necessary information about both the product and the orders/contracts, explaining complex technical information to customers.
Proactively handle customers’ complaints and ensure resolution by communicating with the Manager and other departments’ staff (Quality& Compliance, Finance, Operations, etc.)
Monitor and manage, on a daily basis, the assigned targets/KPIs (Sales, Margin, Bookings, OTIF %, Order Book, etc.) through the BI to ol (i.e. Qlik) and put corrective actions in place if required to make sure the profitability of the BU is achieved.
To undertake, as directed, any other duties as may be commensurate with the overall efficient running of the Company.
