Description Management Resources is seeking a Senior Accountant for a 2 month project in Frisco. 100% on site. What you get to do every day Assist outside auditors in converting books from cash to accrual basis Review general ledger accounts and prepare appropriate journal entries in the accounting system as part of the monthly close Assist with month-end and year-end close, including creating checklist/playbook Ensure all accounting is done according to US GAAP – including Revenue Recognition Process documentation as needed.To be considered for this opportunity. please apply directly to this role. Requirements
BA/BS in Accounting
Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
Adeptness in Prepaids
Microsoft Excel experience highly preferred
Practical knowledge of QuickBooks
Proficiency in Accrued Expenses
General familiarity with month end closings
Foundational knowledge in US GAAP
Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports
