Description We are in search of a meticulous Sr. Accountant to join our team in Grand Prairie, Texas. In this role, you will mainly focus on closing monthly financial periods, handling journal entries, and performing reconciliations. You will also handle check runs and work extensively with the general ledger. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Must have experience with Epicor. Responsibilities: Facilitate the closure of monthly financial periods Manage and record journal entries Conduct bank, account, and general ledger reconciliations Handle check runs as needed Understand and apply basic concepts of debits and credits Extensively engage with the general ledger Be proactive in asking questions when clarification is needed Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks Use Epicor as one of the main tools for accounting tasks.To be considered for this Contract opportunity, please apply directly to this posting. Requirements Professional certification such as CPA is preferred A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role is required.
