1. Core Skills & Experience
Must-have capabilities:
Accounting & reconciliation: Strong in daily sales reconciliation, bank deposits, credit-card batches, and vendor payment matching (e.g., Pepsi, fuel suppliers, lottery, etc.).
QuickBooks / Excel proficiency: Able to generate P&Ls, reconcile GL accounts, and manipulate multi-tab spreadsheets confidently.
Understanding of fuel-retail operations: Familiar with POS systems, wet-stock/fuel purchases, vendor rebates, and c-store inventory accounting.
Document management: Experience with invoices, ACH/NACHA files, COIs, and permit/lease tracking.
Accuracy & attention to detail: Can spot missing store deposits or mismatched readings fast.
