Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for several DRAFTERS to join our team to work with a variety of clients throughout the area. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various drafting software and possess a strong understanding of design principles. This role involves creating detailed technical drawings and plans for projects across multiple disciplines, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
DRAFTERS RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and prepare detailed drawings, schematics, and layouts using drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or MicroStation.
Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and specifications.
Create 3D models and visualizations using software like Sketchup or SolidWorks.
Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications and reports.
Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions for future reference.
DRAFTER REQUIREMENTS
Proficiency in drafting software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks is essential.
Experience with civil design software such as Civil 3D is preferred.
Familiarity with mechanical design principles is a plus.
Ability to create 2D animations for presentations or project proposals is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
A degree or certification in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
