Billing Analyst

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Billing Analyst in Houston, Texas. You will be part of a team that works within the industry, focusing on tasks such as processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications as part of the data entry tasks Utilize Excel formulas to analyze and interpret financial data Maintain precise customer credit records, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate Answer and resolve customer inquiries, providing top-notch customer service Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on account status Use numeric data entry skills to input and manage financial information in our database Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient processes Identify and resolve any discrepancies in customer accounts or financial data Work closely with other departments to ensure all customer needs are met Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continually improve processes and services. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including experience with Excel formulas Experience in customer service roles Excellent data entry skills with a focus on numeric data entry Ability to analyze and solve problems related to billing Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to handle confidential information responsibly Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience in a similar role as a Billing Analyst is preferred but not required.
