Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as a Contracts Manager in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be heavily involved in the management of compliance activities associated with the organization's policies and procedures. This role is within the healthcare industry and will require knowledge and expertise in Federal Programs such as CMS Medicare Advantage, MMP, D-SNP, and Health Insurance Marketplace plans.Responsibilities: Oversee all ongoing compliance activities related to the implementation and maintenance of the organization's policies and procedures Serve as the in-house expert on Federal Programs, directing and ensuring organizational compliance Manage all regulatory/compliance deliverables related to the lines of business Develop new policies and procedures as required for new lines of business Maintain and update policies at least once per year Oversee the effectiveness and compliance of all delegated entities for Federal Programs Maintain current knowledge of applicable federal and state privacy laws and accreditation standards Work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer in staffing the Delegation Oversight Committee and the Regulatory and Compliance Committee Develop and present monthly compliance reports to the Executive Compliance Committee Contribute to the achievement of departmental goals, as identified in the Department’s annual business plan. Requirements A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Contracts Manager or in a relevant field. Strong knowledge in Compliance, Compliance Management and Compliance Risk. Proficiency in Contract Compliance and Government Compliance. Familiarity with Governance Risk Compliance (eGRC) is essential. Demonstrable experience in Legal Compliance. Prior exposure to Medicare Advantage and Medicare Risk Adjustment is required. A thorough understanding of Federal Regulation is a must.
