Data Entry Clerk

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in Houston, Texas. This role is vital within our non-profit sector, focusing primarily on the accurate and efficient processing of donor data. The role will involve a significant amount of data entry, as well as occasional credit card transactions.Responsibilities: Inputting check data from donors into our specialized software. Handling a high volume of data entry tasks with precision and speed. Utilizing Microsoft Excel to an intermediate level for data management and analysis. Running credit card transactions when necessary. Sending out mass communications via mail merges. Opening and sorting mail to streamline check processing. Maintaining a high level of accuracy in all data entry tasks. Ensuring secure and proper handling of sensitive donor information. Collaborating with team members to optimize data processing procedures. Using typing and data entry skills to maintain accurate donor records. Requirements Minimum of one year experience in a similar role or related field Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Required proficiency in either Blackbaud or Donor Perfect Strong skills in typing data entry and general data entry tasks Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in entering data Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data appropriately Must have the legal right to work in the location of the job Ability to adapt to new software and technology systems quickly Proven track record of reliability and consistency in previous roles.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
