ResponsibilitiesThe Director, Infusion Pharmacy Services provides oversight for the performance and development of infusion pharmacy services which directly support infusion center activities and other service lines within the ACO who require sterile compounded products. The scope of these services is inclusive of but not limited to Cancer Services, in-clinic pharmacy services, Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and all other specialties with sterile drug preparation needs. Oversight activities include the successful financial, clinical, and regulatory management of the businesses under the Director’s purview. The Director, Infusion Pharmacy Services, works within the Kelsey Pharmacy team to optimize the delivery of overall pharmacy services through collaboration with Consumer Pharmacy Services, Integrated Pharmacy Services and Specialty Pharmacy services. The Director is responsible for management of all pharmacy related technology under their purview including automated dispensing cabinets, inventory management system, EMR system, and other technologies as they are added. The Director actively participates in the analysis and negotiation of pharmaceutical contracts, pharmaceutical wholesaler contracts, medical supplies contract, and other business-related activities to advance the triple aim which is at the core of what Kelsey-Seybold strives for.
