In this role, the selected candidate will perform installation, service, and repair tasks on a variety of fire sprinkler systems. This role involves executing simple projects, such as moves, adds, and changes, as well as completing full floor buildouts. The ideal candidate will provide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians, ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently. Install and service fire sprinkler systems, including new installations, retrofits, and tenant improvement projects.

Provide support, guidance, and expertise to other field installers and helpers.

Read and interpret blueprints to accurately install prefabricated fire sprinkler piping.

Cut, thread, and groove pipes to specifications using tools such as saws and pipe threaders.

Perform service and repairs on a wide range of fire sprinkler systems.

Requirements:

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the installation of fire sprinkler systems.

Proficient knowledge of wet, dry, and pre-action fire sprinkler systems.

Familiarity with backflow prevention and fire pump systems is a plus.

Experience with the installation of underground piping is advantageous.

In-depth understanding of NFPA 13 and 20 code requirements.

Ability to read and interpret fire system design drawings.

Competency in using industry-standard tools for pipe fitting, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Capability to train others on the proper use of trade-specific tools.

Solid knowledge of the fire protection industry.

Understanding of OSHA safety standards.
