Board Certified Behavior Analyst – BCBA

Board Certified Behavior Analysts operate ABA programs. Aveanna BCBAs develop comprehensive and targeted treatment plans for children to increase functional skills within the framework of Applied Behavior Analysis. The BCBAs work with staff, families, and other professionals to help every client maximize their potential and reach their goals.

As a BCBA, you will serve as a critical member of the Aveanna family community, build solid relationships, and provide leadership to ensure excellent standards are maintained. You will offer oversight of the implementation of treatment programs based on ABA's principles (Applied Behavior Analysis). Required Experience

  • At least two (2) years verified post-Master’s experience providing behavioral treatment and assessment for children and/or adolescents.
  • Two (2) years’ experience working as a team leader or consultant
  • Experience conducting FBA’s and creating Behavior Support Plans
  • Experience teaching functional communication and social skills, and implementing and creating behavior analytic programs
  • Experience with autism spectrum disorders
  • Experience supervising and training staff at varying levels of skills and abilities

Education/Credentials

  • Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited university such as: Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Psychiatric Nursing, and Marriage and Family Therapy and Current certification as Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Licensure: Current certification as a BCBA; Current state license if applicable; No sanctions or disciplinary actions on license and/or certification
