We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsWhat You Will Do In This Role:· You will perform delegated functions in compliance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.· You will perform procedures related to decontamination, assembly and sterilization of surgical instrumentation for Surgical Services and Nursing units.· You will review sterilization records and prepare reports as assigned.· You will demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the Surgical Services team.· You will have accountability for delivering quality services and for promoting a positive image of the department.What qualifications you will need:· Certification in Sterile Processing is preferred.· Previous experience in an Operating Room, Central Supply or other Material Management setting is preferred.At The Woman’s Hospital of Texas (https://careers.hcahealthcare.com/pages/the-womans-hospital-of-texas) , our care philosophy is Woman First.
