Transmission Delivery Lead

About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transmission Delivery Lead to oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of electric transmission projects. This role is responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing project schedules and budgets, mitigating risks, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. The ideal candidate combines strong project leadership skills with a deep understanding of transmission systems, utility operations, engineering processes, and capital project delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end delivery of transmission projects, including planning, engineering, procurement, construction, and closeout activities. Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource plans. Coordinate with engineering, environmental, permitting, construction, and operations teams to ensure project success. Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, leadership teams, customers, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while proactively resolving issues that may impact project objectives. Monitor project performance and provide regular status updates, forecasts, and executive-level reporting. Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, environmental regulations, and company policies. Manage contractor and vendor performance to ensure quality, cost control, and schedule adherence. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in project delivery. Support strategic planning efforts and contribute to the development of transmission infrastructure programs. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
