Triage Licensed Vocational Nurse- OB/GYN Medical Center Associates

Location: Onsite at our care center - 7900 Fannin St # 4000, Houston, TX 77054The Triage Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for providing critical patient care and support in a fast-paced environment. This role involves both phone triaging and in-person patient care, demanding exceptional clinical skills, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.Patient Triage & Care: Conduct thorough phone triaging, assessing patient symptoms and medical history to determine urgency and direct appropriate care. Greet and prepare in-person patients for examinations, including taking vital signs and documenting all necessary information.Clinical Support & Procedures: Assist physicians during exams and procedures, administer injections, and provide patient education. Perform Non-Stress Tests (NSTs) and ultrasound scans.Emergency Response: Recognize urgent situations and initiate appropriate protocols. Maintain comprehensive documentation of all emergency events.Administrative Support: Manage patient flow, participate in appointment scheduling, and collect payments. Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines and infection control practices.
