Part time position: Average of 3 days per week.
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Work Hours are from 8:30 - 5pm
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the general upkeep, repair, and maintenance of community common areas, facilities, and equipment. This role ensures that Crown Colony West remains a well-maintained and attractive place to live.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance of common areas.
- Complete minor repairs (Siding, fence, carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical etc.)
- Maintain landscaping and grounds, including trash pickup, pressure washing, and small repairs.
- Assist with pool and recreation area upkeep.
- Monitor community lighting and replace bulbs/fixtures as needed.
- Work with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are required.
- Respond to maintenance requests from HOA management in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with HOA safety and maintenance standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance, handyman, or facilities experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, siding, fencing and general repairs.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.
- Background check will be required.
