Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder - Stick. This role involves performing precise welding operations on various materials, primarily using stick welding techniques, to support construction, fabrication, and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working on construction sites or in manufacturing environments, with a strong understanding of welding codes and safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects requiring technical expertise in multiple welding processes and fabrication methods.
Night and Day Shift Available - Must be able to pass drug test and background checks!
Responsibilities
Perform stick welding (SMAW) on structural steel, sheet metal, ductwork, piping, and other materials following blueprints and schematics.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding symbols to ensure accurate fabrication.
Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement devices to prepare materials for welding and assembly.
Follow safety protocols.
Maintain a clean work environment by inspecting welds for quality assurance according to ASME codes & standards.
Adhere to project timelines while ensuring high-quality workmanship in accordance with industry standards.
Requirements
Be able to pass a drug test and background check.
Basic Plus or Safety Essentials would be helpful
Current Fit Test preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
